| Dr.
Forbes holds a B.A. in psychology from Oberlin College and an M.S.
and Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Florida.
With has more than 21 years of experience in college counseling
centers, she serves as Director of Counseling Services at Lafayette
College, supervising the College alcohol education and counseling
programs.
Dr. Forbes' research on effective health-related educational
interventions for college students has been published in the Journal
of College Student Development, the Journal of the American College
Health Association, About Campus Magazine, and the American
Clinical Laboratory Magazine.
Dr. Forbes is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania. She is
a member of the American Psychological Association, the American
Association of College and University Counseling Center Directors,
the American College Personnel Association and the National Association
of Student Personnel Administrators.
